collaborative, creative, and considerate

Eclectic Designs creates uniquely personal legacy homes that reflect the story of their occupants and are designed to last a lifetime.

With each home, we thoughtfully weave a family’s story and lifestyle into a vision that is as unique as the people who live within it.‍ ‍

Hello! My name is Beth, Principal of Eclectic Designs

I have been serving the Greater Eastside of Seattle, including Issaquah & surrounding communities, for over 10 years as a residential interior designer. I am deeply passionate about discovering and celebrating the beauty within your home. My specialty lies in masterfully mixing styles that feel curated and collected over time-creating spaces that tell your story in a way that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

Although I began my career in fashion design, the seeds of an interior designer were planted long before that. I started rearranging my parents’ furniture when I was just 8 years old. My father, who worked evening hours, would often curse my name upon his return while bumping into a piece of furniture that wasn’t there when he’d left.

That instinct-to reimagine, to improve, to create flow-has never left me.

I am a lifelong learner, so returning to school to earn my Interior Studies degree felt like a natural next step. In addition to formal education in interior design and construction management, I continue to expand my knowledge of materials, furnishings, and the ever-evolving design industry so I can better serve my clients and their homes.

With each project I take a thoughtful and thorough approach, relying on a family’s lived experiences and dreams for the future to guide creative decision-making.

This highly personalized, full-service interior design approach means no two homes are alike. Whether we are working on a new build, renovation, or furnishings project, the end result feels at once luxurious and new, yet comfortable and familiar.

I collaborate closely with homeowners, architects, and contractors to bring clarity and cohesion to every phase of the design process-from early planning and space layout to the final layers that make a house feel like home. My education, expertise, and approachability allow me to be both an asset to contractors and an advocate for my clients, ensuring a seamless experience with your best interest at heart.

When I am not creating, I am exploring new restaurants with my family, attending a theater performance with my next-door neighbor, listening to podcasts, reading, forest bathing, or walking my dog, Hank.

Values That Guide Every Eclectic Designs Project

At Eclectic Designs, every home begins with listening. The goal is always the same: to create spaces that reflect the people who live there while being thoughtful, responsible, and enduring. These four pillars guide how we design, select materials, and care for our clients throughout the process.

Purposeful giving

Five percent of every interior design service fee is donated in honor of our clients to Habitat for Humanity or a nonprofit organization of their choosing.

Integrity in Materials

Materials are selected with honesty and care, prioritizing durability, transparency, and more responsible choices whenever possible.

UNiversal Design

Spaces are thoughtfully planned to support comfort, accessibility, and living well at every stage of life.

Wellness-centered living

Homes intentionally designed to support healthier living through light, thoughtful layout, and materials that contribute to overall well-being.

Awards & Recognition

We are always honored to be recognized for our work, but even more grateful for the trust our clients place in us to design their homes. Some of our proudest accomplishments include our interior design work being featured nationally on Houzz, as well as receiving the “Best of Houzz” award for Client Experience for 11 consecutive years. Most recently, our Kollutchen project has been featured in Kitchen & Bath Design News, Portrait Magazine and Cosentino USA highlighting our work in residential interior design across the Greater Seattle Eastside. While recognition is meaningful, our greatest measure of success will always be creating homes that feel deeply personal, lasting, and truly lived in.
